This policy applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Hosting
The website and the contact form program are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. The server stores access in log files (IP address, time, page, browser) for secure operation.
4. Contact form, email and phone
Contact form
Through the contact form you send us your name, email address, topic and message, and optionally your company and phone number. Purpose: answering your enquiry. Without the mandatory details we cannot handle the enquiry.
The form is sent to a program on our web server. It forwards the enquiry by email to our mailbox via a mail server operated by SSI IT Consulting GmbH. We do not include your IP address in the email. To prevent abuse, the web server keeps a non-reversible hash of your IP address for at most one hour to limit the number of requests.
Spam protection with Google reCAPTCHA
The form is protected against automated requests by Google reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA only loads when you activate the form; merely visiting the website does not connect to Google. After activation, Google receives, among other things, your IP address, browser and device details and your behaviour on the page, and may set cookies. Purpose: telling humans and programs apart. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (see section 6). Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and terms of service (https://policies.google.com/terms) apply. If you prefer not to use reCAPTCHA, email us directly at info@ssi-it.com or call us.
Email and phone
We use enquiries sent via the form, by email or by phone to answer them. Our mailboxes are operated by Microsoft (Microsoft 365, contracting party Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin) as a processor. Data may also be transferred to the USA (see section 6). We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them, then according to statutory retention periods.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no non-essential cookies and uses no tracking services. Only when you activate the contact form does Google reCAPTCHA load, and it may set cookies (see section 4). Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google. We currently do not measure conversions from advertising (e.g. Google Ads) on this website. If we do so in future, we will say so here and obtain your consent first; you can withdraw it at any time.
6. Disclosure and transfers abroad
We pass data only to the providers named above and to SSI IT CONSULTING SPAIN S.L. where needed for services in Spain. Switzerland and the EU each recognise the other as providing adequate data protection. With Google reCAPTCHA, a transfer to the USA is possible; Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Emails handled through Microsoft 365 may also be transferred to the USA; Microsoft is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses also apply.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and object to processing, and withdraw consent. Write to info@ssi-it.com. Complaints: the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, for data subjects in the EU, the competent supervisory authority (in Spain the AEPD).
